Procore and Accounting
Ascent and TMC worked through a structured discovery process to ensure they would be using Procore most effectively and that Procore and the Accounting system were properly connected and synching data in real time.
Connecting Procore® and QuickBooks
TMC Construction started using Procore in May 2022 to manage its construction projects. After purchasing Procore + QuickBooks Desktop ERP connector in June 2022, TMC reached out to Ascent to get the two systems working together.

Setting up TMC for continued success
Ascent started Discovery workshops with TMC in San Francisco to learn about their projects, financial processes, and current level of Procore usage. By the end of the project, Ascent team members had been back to the west coast twice for on-site Procore training, worked with TMC's leadership virtually, and facilitated several Q&A sessions for TMC Project Coordinators.
The TMC team saw an immediate improvement in their Procore skills. In-person walk-throughs of all Procore tools included live demonstrations of mobile applications that provided tangible value to the team on how to leverage these tools in the field. The TMC team was able to immediately apply what Ascent suggested for both their field and their office teams.
Third-party accounting
TMC Construction and Ascent Consulting will continue working with each other through 2023 and beyond. Following the revamp of their Procore usage, TMC decided to enlist Ascent’s financial experts to perform all of their bookkeeping and accounting.
